Speaker, thanks to Leigh Ann Spell, is Jay Price a 6-year-old little with a severe-profound hearing impairment. His hearing loss was identified right after birth and his parents pursued audiologic and speech-language services immediately following identification. Jay currently has a cochlear implant and has developed amazing speech, language, and listening skills. He is actually mainstreamed into a regular kindergarten class! He is the SC Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (SCSHA) Ambassador this year.
